After I finished writing this comic I did a quick search for "Quito" to see if it could actually be a surname. It turns out that it is! The surname has it's origins in England and Wales, but the Quito is also a capital city... of Ecuador. I'm not sure if there's any connection between those two... things.
The main point is, I'm sure that the women of the Quito clan have been bombarded with lame jokes about being a "Miss Quito", and for that I'm sorry. Maybe they would've thought of that when they came up with the name if chicks weren't getting married at the age of twelve back then, no one had time to put it together.
